The space
The house is over 5,000 square feet with plenty of room to stretch out. There are 50 acres of hiking trails to explore if you really want to stretch out.

We have lots of wildlife such as turkeys, deer, geese, turtles, etc. along with 4 horses, a flock of chickens, ducks, and a donkey named Jezzie. The pond is a wonderful place to relax. There are plenty of fish in there if you want to throw in a line.

Walk in the front door and fall in love with the cathedral ceilings and winding staircase. The house is perfect for large groups and has plenty of cozy gathering spaces. There are also plenty of bedrooms to get away from it all.The kitchen is nicely appointed with double Thermador Ovens and a 6 burner Thermador range. It is the perfect place to cook up a large family meal and it even has two dishwashers to help clean up the mess.

Gather for stories around one of the two wood burning fireplaces. Hit the sunroom for a ping pong match. Catch the game on the 65" plasma tv. Hang out on the back patio under the gazebo. Head over to the outdoor pavilion and fire up the grill. The opportunities are endless.

Guests are welcome to fish in our stocked pond. (Please observe catch and release)
There are 40 acres of wooded trails throughout the back of the Farm. There is also a covered pavilion in the backyard for events/gatherings.
Guest interaction
We are not a management company. We are the owners and Canaan Valley Farms is our home. We live on the property and are always available should we be needed, but we only come when called, your privacy is important to us. We feel very blessed to live in such an amazing place and look forward to sharing it with your family.
Neighborhood overview
The Mane House is set on a 50-acre horse farm complete with a stocked pond. It's a private estate surrounded by wildlife including deer, geese, turtles, horses, and a donkey called Jezzie. It's only a couple of miles from the City of Asheville.
New for 2020 is The Asheville Speakeasy. Our very own 1920’s themed beer and wine bar offering local drafts and outdoor fire pits is now open and within walking distance for our Farm guests!
Getting around
There is plenty of parking at the Farm. Uber and Lyft both service our area and last time I checked it was around $15 to downtown.
